Pastor Linda Mosley
Linda Mosley was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, but moved to Texas at age eleven – Texas is her home. Husband Bill, a native Texan, says she got here as fast as she could! Her mother lives in San Antonio; one brother, lives in Austin. Her in-laws live in the Welcome area. Linda attended Texas Lutheran College – now “University, graduating with a B. A. degree in Speech/Drama, English and Education. While at TLC she met and married Bill Mosley. After graduation, they moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, while he attended Luther Seminary. They have two daughters and six grandchildren. Retiring from public education in June 2004, she had taught almost all grade levels. She also served as an Educational Diagnostician and a Special Education Director. She earned two Master of Education degrees from Trinity University: one in Special Education, the other in Mid-Management /Administration. Active in the church throughout her life, she is currently on the Synodical Women’s Board. She also serves the Synod on committees and as Chair of an Assembly. Entering the Candidacy process in 2004, working toward Associate in Ministry (AiM), she was commissioned in November 2007. She completed the Lutheran Seminary Program of the Southwest in May 2009 and was ordained at St. Paul on August 9, 2009.
I am excited to be a part of Saint Paul because our congregation is an active, loving, and faithful group of God’s people We worship with joy and enthusiasm and seek to be a center of life for our community. God is with us and we accomplish great things, as a team of disciples, serving His kingdom.
